Hello, this looks like a great forum for TR’s glad to have found it. I inherited 3 TR3’s from my dad which I actually worked on as a teenager. Two were stored for about 50 years in a garage, the third was stored outside and is basically rust now. I retired about a year ago and just finished my heated garage. First time I have owned a heated garage  . My plan is to restore at least one of these 3 cars , full frame off restoration. I just pulled out the transmission I recall installing about 47 years ago as a kid and started my first restoration on the 1960 TR3A. Unfortunately the engine set up in the garage. I also have a 1974 TR6 not presently on the road. Maybe a future project. A little background , I attended Morrisville college for an automotive technology degree in 1979 so I figured I might as well use that education now. I worked 38 years in mfging and New product development before I retiring in 2020. Glad to be here, hope I can offer some good information.

Glad to have been found! Sound like you’ll have your hands full in your retirement. You should get lots of help here. Welcome aboard!

Hello RBL-TR3A
Welcome to the forum.

Congratulations on your retirement. It is great. I tell my wife everyday is a Saturday.

You will find the Triumph section is very active so you are sure to get plenty of tips and advice there for your restoration project.

Post some photos of your starting point. Get plenty of zip lock bags for parts.

David
