I'm reassembling a '61 TR4(I didn't take it apart). Most parts are new but I have an old set of sun visors. They are white and look like they are original but soiled so I was going to try and source some black ones to match the interior.
What I found was that they came white and you had to dye them out yourselves. So I took another look at what I had. The vinyl is good and I managed to get everything metal moving and apart. But the interior fill was just dust coming out the ends.
Has anyone tried to refill the foam? I think this is a one-shot deal so I'm hoping someone can guide me. I'm thinking some kind of non-expanding foam and just pat it flat to fill it out.
