ok gentlemen and ladies need some help cleaning up my interior and hood cover the materials are leather and vinyl... the have various stains and oil are dirt in the texture and i want them out. also the drivers seat had some pealing of paint in two spots where it changed color the paint actually did peel off..it must have been painted by the prevous owner can leather be painted?? and if it can how? i treid a meguiers leather cleaner restore and it worked so so but am still not happy..any suggestions

Leather is painted in a manner of speaking. It is sort of a dye paint. My Jag seats were both "painted" with special black leather coating and have held up very well.
 
I painted many a Rover leather seat in earlier years.......with leather paint..........Held up very good............I can ask my father if he remembers the brand name we used
 
Leatherique. It worked absolutely wonderfully on my old jag project and my dads old jag. It's expensive as heck, but worth it. It's way better than Meguiars IMHO.
