Thanks for all the great comments on the car. I'm looking forward to the next cruise-in where we can park are 6s next to each other and watch the puzzled looks on peoples faces. As for fitting the trans you can see that the firewall has been modified, and he did have to fabricate a new tunnel. The passenger suffers the most from this change because he did move the trans to the right 2" which leaves the footwell a bit narrow. This is a great car , but it's still not my cup of tea.
