Spitfire Restored the dash in the 69 spit with a veneer

Just Google veneers and you can buy online or try a wood workers store in your area.
I was lucky enough to have a supplier for my business handle it.
 
Nice job. I have done the dash in the GT6 and the spitfire this way. The hardest thing about it is finding a nice grain in the wood. You got a nice looking piece of veneer.
 
finding a good piece of veneer is hard and we couldn't find a long enough piece that would carry the grain all the way across the dash so we went with the pieces that where all about 2.5 ft long and trimmed off of the same slab. so all three pieces are the same,so i just mixed it up a little and made it look the best i could. ill post pics of it in the car.
