restored British vehicle

If you have the money, why not... I once spotted a fighter "trainer" jet on a drive in Alberta... I didn't know what it was until I got home, an Aero L-29 Delfin, built in Czechoslovakia from 1963 to 1974... I'm guessing that didn't come cheap - even on the used market - and maintenance would likely be rather expensive...

About a month ago, I was out in the back yard and our town got buzzed by a MiG-15! Sometimes it's fun living near a warplane museum.

Not British but, here's a MIG-17 under restoration you can get for $14,500. Not counting radio and nav equipment, probably cost another 30 K to finish it, but I spent that much on my TF!
