I have decided to sell my 59.It is a frame off restoration with just a handful of miles since.
comes with numbers matching motor rebuilt and ready. The engine in the car is a Prather Racing
special. This motor has 30 k on it now and is more than fast. With the Supra 5 speed it easily hits
90 mph in third gear. The build on this motor was 10K $ twenty years ago.
Wilwood brakes stop it,with Tr4a suspension bits to make it handle at speed.
Carmine red ,leather seats(gray) . Pictures don't do it justice. 39,000$ PM for more Info.

Mad Dog: lovely car and I wish you well. I fear the current market may not be so kind: recent experience is that equally beautiful restorations are struggling to get anywhere near those prices. You might do better in Europe, but then you'd have to deal with shipping and import complications.

I did not spend 15 years doing this car to sell it cheap. If the right buyer is out there great.
If not , who cares. This engine makes a song at 6000 that is too sweet and still burns 89 octane.

Kent is a good friend of mine. I sometimes assisted him with projects, mostly MG' s that he races.
He became interested in helping me build the Tr4 motor I was doing and we got a little nuts.
Kept the compression low but did crazy work on the head and lower end. The initial run on the dyno, before
roller rockers and some carb mods, was 155HP at 6800rpm. Measured at the crank. This is the failure point of the Lucas Generator
which exploded and we called it done. In retrospect we should have raised the comp just a bit more, I guess it"s
wild enough now that the rollers are on and the carbs tuned. Have not chassis dynode it, just know its all you need on the street.
He and I developed the "Voodoo" pistons for his championship motor. 1622cc MGA engine made 178HP SCCA legal
naturally aspirated. compression of 14.5/1. at 7600rpm Lord what a screamer that was!!
