Restoration Guide

Whats a good restoration guide to get??? I want it made out of paper, not a CD, if possible, but if the CD is a lot better I might get it too. I need something for reference to be able to tell what parts are reproduction on my car and what is original. I am fixing to retstore and I would like to keep it as original as I can. And also something that tells you what the correct color the parts are supposed to be and the correct markings, like the marking on the hood latch springs, etc. Another example would be how do I tell an original grill for my BN7 from an aftermarket???
