Restoration books?

Does anyone have one of these books or can anyone comment on which is better to get for restoring a car as close to original as possible per the VIN?

Original Austin-Healey 100, 100-Six and 3000

or...

The Restorer's Guide to 100, 100-Six and 3000

Thanks,

Rasky

I have both; the "Original" has outstanding color pictures, but still lacks some detail differences among models.

The "Guide" has poor (B&W) pictures, but goes into much greater detail and covers all models.

You need both.

If you want to get your project correct? spend the money for the "The Originality Guide for Big Healeys" , currently on a cd issued by the Concours Registry

The new issue should be available in Feb 2010. It will be money well spent.
