Restarting my restoration

My 1957 Austin Healey 100-6 restoration has been stalled for about 10 years for a variety of reasons but now I'm getting back to it. I've owned it since 1971 when I purchased it for $150 without working brakes I learned a lot about British cars and Girling brakes real fast. I drove it for 20 odd years and crashed it hard one day. The car was stripped the chassis been repaired and painted suspension restored engine and trans rebuilt now it's time to start assembling components. I have been watching and participating in BCF for many years finding a great amount of information here. Right now I'm looking for a good source for a wiring harness and brake lines & fittings. The car isn't going to be show or concours but a solid driver. Any information on brakes and wiring will be appreciated. BTW I am converting to four wheel disc brakes I have all the components.

For the wires I would look at Britishwires they are car specific and would be helpful also as far as brakes make sure you use new brake hoses and keep the old ones for comparison look at Toms Imports he has the fronts and the ones to the master already pre bent .There are a lot of club members on the island look into them if you need a guide

Any of the major suppliers harness are good . you will notice they may have different bulb holders for the instrument lamps (push in instead of screw in) .
And for brake lines fuel lines .Go to your fave automotive store buy either pre made lines of fixed lengths or a roll of tubing and fittings and make your own . you will need the cutting and flaring tools of course to do this .

I'm also working on a '57 100-6 and recently bought wiring harnesses and a complete brake system, front to back, from one of the suppliers. You will notice when looking at the wiring harnesses that there are several options. I went with the cloth/PVC harnesses, hoping that it would be the most durable. Note that the connectors used to connect the bullets do not come with the harness, so order them separately. So far I'm still trying to sort out brake and clutch master cylinder problems; the new cylinders that I bought are not the correct ones, so I'm waiting for rebuild kits for the old master cylinders.

I used a harness from A H Spares in my 100/6. Fitted well with no issues and (I think) a reasonable price.

I have used Vintage Wiring Harnesses of Melbourne for my 100 and a Sprite. Recommended!

I bought mine from these guys. They have pre bent lines. Fit perfectly.

I went with steel. I should have gone with stainless steel. No problems yet but...
