One of our (wife and I) favorite British shows is "Keeping Up Appearances." Sad to learn that Geoffrey Hughes, the actor who played "Onslow", Hyacinth's slovenly but lovable Brother-in-Law as died.

Surprised to read he was the voice of "Paul" in the Yellow Submarine Movie. I'd have never guessed that.

Oh dear! One of my favourite actors too!

The exchanges between "Richard" and "Onslow" were priceless.
The Yellow Submarine connection is a surprise too.

He'll be missed.

I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around Onlsow as the voice of Paul McCartney.
 
His passing is a loss. I named my Jag after him. It just seemed to fit. As my Jag is quite fast I thought On Slow a/k/a Onslow just seemed to be an oxymoron.
