would like to here about re-sleeving wheel cylinders and master cylinders,

brass vs stainless

anything else to look into ?
the wheel cylinders for this car end up about $800 if I have to buy new, there are 2 for each front wheel and one for the rear , so 6 total.

I used these guys many years ago for a master cylinder on an old race car they used brass, looks like they still do. Never had any problems with it, still have the car. https://www.whitepost.com/
 
There is a place in California that comes highly recommended (a British car parts vendor told me about them),
Sierra Specialty Automotive and they have a FAQ on their website that discusses the brass vs. stainless steel

Hi Beaulieu, I will not vouch for them fellows with the fruity name.However,I highly recommend White Post Restorations as a premier rebuilder of brake parts.I have Three cars that they have rebuilt all the clyns on since correct new items are simply not available.I
