resistor

I'd like to take advantage of the rainy weather and install my new Flamethrower coil, but my multi-meter is acting up and I can't determine if I have a resistor or not. It's the 67 B with one of Mike Masters' systems in it, anyone know whether I've got a resistor somewhere?

The 67 MGB did not use a balast resistor in the ignition. Unless the ignition on the car has been modified somewhere along the line, there should be no resistor.
