Rescuing some pictures I found this one in a envelope its start to get ugly spots on it so I figured it was time to scan them and put them on a drive .
This is Cortina from about 1978 check out my keystone classics sweeeet!
This was by far the most fun car ever so simple so fun to drive no thrash! Still diging and scanning..

Wish I had some, from the day, to rescue. Cool.

Great car. Herself drove a Mk-I Lotus Cortina as her daily for years. Like a fool, I sold it in '89.

In about 68/69 I drove by Holman & Moody's shop every day and wondered whast they were going to do with the hanger full of Lotus Cortinas that were stacked on racks 6 or 8 cars high, enough to nearly fill an aircraft hanger. Cortinas are far as you could see. Guess I should have asked as I was John Holmans neighbor at the time.
Guess things don't seem to important when you're living in the moment. I once passed on buying a slab side Cobra with a Holman & Moody blueprinted 289, 2 4 barrels, all the H&M paperwork and receipts. Guy was asking $2800.00 ISTR.

KICK ME NOW!
AND AGAIN.
AND AGAIN.
AND AGAIN.

yahoo..... looks like it was fun.

Jim,

Why didn't you save me 1 (or 3) of those Cortinas?
If I knew then what I know now....

Chris:

Keep scanning all those old snaps!....in a way, they're priceless.

I sat down last Winter and scanned all the ones I could find. I put them on ~This Page~ .

It's been fun sharing, especially with friends "back in the day".

Here's some samples of mine below:

Eary gymkhana ('69 or so)...helmet?

Later heard that H&M was providing the storage space for Ford Motor Co. They were there for a while, but I bought a house in '69 and no longer passed that way. Don't know how long they were there or their final disposition.
