Well it looks like the carbs are still holding pressure, no leaks and the pump just runs at the quiet speed when turned on. ie it is not really pumping just pushing against pressure.

I have decided to wait till I have an exhaust to see if that fixed the idle problem. Too loud for this neighborhood. Sure sounded happy though and ready to sing.

Just parts, gaskets mostly but new brass washers as well and some misc stuff like stainless cotter keys.

12.50 each carb, did not include new needles or choke tubes or float bowl valves as I had them.

Call and talk to him, nice guy. 718 762 7878. Will trouble shoot and tell you what you need. Great place and Hap convienced me to call him.

Well, Jack, lets get an exhaust going! What's the delay? Time? hehehehe

I really think the wife beleives Miss Agatha is happening too fast.

Do you have an exhaust pipe and no muffler, or no exhaust at all Jack?

Jack, I just tried to PM you and got a message that "this user is over the private PM limit. Are you aware of this?

PS Chk your email

Did she think you'd wait or go slow on purpose? Restoration may be fun, but driving has got to be more fun!

I have no exhaust pipe, muffler or hangers as yet.

This is the make it go list less interior. Guess I could use a soap box, hehe.

Jack,

I have some of these parts, and being realistic I doubt if my future includes more than one Bugeye, unless it also includes me being homeless, so I should make sure they all get a good home.

At a quick glance I know I have at least 3 (NOS) of the 140-515 rotary knobs, plus some of the front and rear small light assemblies, not sure how complete, I'll have to check.

Is a real nice offer chris but I think I will just put new on then I never need to mess with it again. Not really a lot on that list in any case. Just looks like it will be a month or so till I get back on it.

Wife needed a crown, and Christmas, and trip to Michigan, it all adds up.

Most of what I was talking about __IS__ new stuff
