I sometimes post a comment on a you tube video I have watched.

Lately I have had several replies saying "Like your comment contact me on telegram" and a number. I never answer these as I assume they are not the you tube poster. Anyone else getting similar replies?

David - I think we've all seen those. I used to get them on my WordPress blog, as well as YouTube.

"oooh i learned so much frm your posts! Really cool! Please conect with me on Instagram [or other social media traps]"

People trying to "connect" to get your personal info.

Yes, major spam going on. The content creators make posts warning the viewers to report, ignore, delete.
 
On our website we turned off comments - turns out we don't really care what other people think. :D
