I'm looking for recommendations for a good chrome replating shop. Ideally it would be located in the San Francisco bay area, but I'll consider shipping the parts, if the shop is comfortable operating that way and can price their work based on pictures.
Since all of the DEQ stuff going on a good chromer is tough to find! Some use Starbrite up in Portland Or .If you call a shop and they give you a long time frame one a done date don't be surprised if the stuff isn't brought over the Mexico border and back. I am starting to see alot of replated chrome bumper sellers at our car shows with rechrome stuff being done in Mexico etc.
It's amazing the reputation Paul's Chrome has. They do phenomenal work for an equally phenomenal price. But quality is quality.
I live five miles from their shop, should you decide to go that direction and need assistance.
