Replacing Window Felts?

Has anyone replaced the window felts using the existing brackets? The rivets are small and and I'm not sure what to use to replace them. I thought of pop rivets but I cannot get the tool in the channel and it would leave too much rivet exposed if installed from the back.
Any help would be appreciated.

How about going to the shoe\ luggage repair guy and see if he has the push together rivets that would work?

There is a top and bottom rivet that you then squeeze together with a pliers or hammer. I use them for putting a name plate on the dog collar and both sides are then smooth.

Larry, get a cheep rivet gun from somewhere and grind the head down to fit in the channel. Two flat sides will work.

Thanks Guys,
Wayne, your idea is aces. I had an extra head so I tried it and it worked great. Ground down the sides of the head so it would fit in the channel and only screwed it in about half way so that it reaches the bottom. Sets down into the felt very well.
Thanks Again'

Larry
