Where can I get a replacement oil pressure line for my TR4A?
There are barbed fitting at both ends, and the ID of the nylon line I have been able to find is either too small, or not tight enough for the barbs. Moss used to sell replacement braided steel line but they discontinued them due to the fittings leaking.

Richard,
I am not positive that this is what you want. But I do believe that this line replaces both the small copper under dash line and the old braided wire line. There is one on ebay for the next three hours. The seller is Ted Schumacher at TS Imported Automotive. (Add .com for website).
He seems to have these for sale on ebay occasionally and I suspect you can contact him directly to get one.

If you want to go for a braided line solution I have two suggestions for you.

First go to Summitracing.com and search using the phrase: "longacre gauge line kits". That will bring up four different lengths of AN4 braided gauge lines. They include a 1/8 NPT male to AN4 fitting for one end of the hose. The other end of the hose has a 1/8 NPT female thread. I suggest buying an additional AN4 to pipe fitting for the female end so either end of the hose can be undone individually.

Second, on eBay search using the phrase: braided oil line kit -"turbo"
Then sort for prices low to high. You will find many vendors selling AN4 sized kits with both male and female 1/8 NPT fittings with various lengths of braided hose. Look for one with the length you need which includes both male and female NPT to AN4 fittings.

With a little Teflon tape on the threads the 1/8 NPT female fittings will fit the gauge. The braided lines won't look original but they will last quite a long time.

I agree on TSI (Ted Schumacher). I put one from him on my TR250 and it has been great. Since I did not want the bling, I covered it with black shrink tubing and it doesn't show that it's not original.
Regards,
Bob
