My machine shop lost my engine number plate. Is there any place I can get another one? I have the number written down.

Victoria British has the blank engine plate, Part # 9-0859, but I assume you would have to take it to a local shop to have the numbers added.

Just curious, did you have the engine block soaked? If the ID plate was not removed, it was chemically destroyed.

If you are interested, Clarke Spares and Restorations fabricates engine ID plates from the information you supply. He stamps them with the correct raised letter as per original.

They did mine, and it came out looking just like "the real thing." They even have the correct rivets to install them.
