Recently swapped out the rear end on my 65 with the rear end from a 72 (or thereabouts.) Everything has been lining up fine until I got to the propshaft -- there is about a 3/4" gap between it and the diff.

Are there differences between the years, or am I just not doing something correctly?

Thanks!

Be glad that there is that 3/4" gap- it is correct. Just pull the driveshaft back toward the diff and hook it up!
