What's the old saying? You gain experience by exercising bad judgment.

Well, technically.... You increase government deficits by exercising bad judgment....

Keoke,

So nice to see your posts! We all missed your contributions. Glad you are back on the Forum. I hate to tell these other posers, but no one ever filled your shoes. No offense to my fellow posters, it is just that your knowledge and know how got many of us through uncharted territory.

Welcome home!

Government does fine on it's own on that account.

What's that? A bead of sweat forming on Reid's brow?

Eric,

Maybe this can help you. If you spray the rubber with some silicon, it will be a lot easier to install.

Cheers,
Roger

The bulbs are standard issue dual filament (parking/brake) available anywhere auto bulbs are sold

Picked up the 1157 and reassembled. Lots of fun getting that collar back on. Should have tried some silicon but did get it back all way round. And the signal and brake light is back to normal. Some exercise for changing a lamp. Guess that's one more reason why they're Healeys and we love em.

Thanks for all help,

Eric
