Repair shop BBC TV

It's a fun show (that I just discovered). Such a diversity of projects (clocks, furniture, paintings...).

(y)(y) (would have been 4 but my wife didn't enjoy the show as much as I expected)

Right around Christmas or New Year's one of the US cable networks (Discovery maybe?) aired a marathon. That was the first I had ever heard of it, but it turns out that my artistic/crafty sisters are both long-time fans of the show.

Just the few episodes I watched taught me a lot (who ever heard of "consolidating gel"?). It's also great inspiration to go tackle an intimidating project.

it is delightful

There's also "Find it, Fix it, Drive it", from the BBC that's not bad. Couple guys find and fix up old cars, motorcycles and other mechanical rides. Once fixed up, they do hill climbs, off road and other activities.

I don't have internet at home so can't watch online video, but my friend Dave does and he watches a couple similarly themed shows (wlthough they aren't on TV so I guess they wouldn't be called TV shows at that point - whatever YouTube calls their recurring uploaders) - something called "Vice Grip Garage" and (not sure of the spelling) "Mortsky Repair" - they buy or find old abandoned cars, get them running and if possible drive them home.
