Might sound jumbled, but please bear with me. Several yrs ago at the all brit in KC there was a beautiful BE that showed up for one yr. As I remeber it, he had to have the back panel replaced and when he did, the seams were removed front and back. His attention to detail was beyound nice, the car was really, really nice. Anyway, I lost his number and had wondered what had happend to him and his car. My buddy John lives in a town of about 5,000, 25 miles south of KC, he does yard care and pest control, so he is around a 30 mile area. He had noticed a midget on blocks in the back yard of a house in the town he lives and had stopped several times to no one home. Last week, a lady answered the door, and she was pretty sure her husband didn't want to sell the car, but he would be home Sat. morning. John stopped by and there was the BE in the garage. He is building a 1275 for a Judsen SC. Small world isn't it. The car is nicer than I remebered it. It really impresses me when someone does all this without any outside support, simply because of the love for the car. I am looking forward to being around to offer support and perhaps help in Kevins winter project.
