Hello fellow BCF members, recently acquired MG Midget 1968 model. Vehicle currently in transit from South Australia to Hobart in Tasmania. Now I am 64 years and old hoping I can enter the car as easily as when 20 years old. Midget will share garage space with 1950 Riley 2.5 litre. The Riley is used for interstate rallies and longer trips, plan to use midget for more localised drives. Hoping my wife will try driving it, neighbours wife willing to take my wife for a drive in it to demonstrate car is not too scary.

Welcome to the British Car Forum. At 64 you will not have any problems getting into the Midget. If you do it will all be forgotten once you start driving!
Take it to the Salamanca Market then up to Mt. Wellington.
I have been to Hobart and can’t wait to return.
