Rene Bonnet

It is a French car after all... As I recall my automotive history (just checked in a book too /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif) Rene Bonnet was an offshoot of the somewhat more well known D.B. (Deutsch Bonnet) company

Can't say I've ever seen one of these in my life.

As I remember, DB specialised in Panhard, and were I think bought by them, and in turn by Peugeot - Citroen.
Anyway, Deutsch & Bonnet separated, Rene Bonnet went on to other Renault-powered devices, and was bought by Matra eventually.

I've seen DBs up at the Glen, but never a Rene Bonnet.( at least not that I knew of) cool.
