I am building a 1962 Renault Dauphine for Land Speed Racing for my daughter. Tube chassis, 2.3 turbo engine, quick change rear end.
Welcome to "Fat Frog Racing"

Any photos of the body?

I had a Dauphine around '67. It was a "woods car" driven through the pine barrens of South Jersey before I had a driver's license. Bought from a high school chum for $5.
I had some great races against some friends with similar cars (Prefects, VWs, etc).
Years ago, one of my pals had a 4CV. I still like the way they look. The A108 Alpines are keen too.

G'luck with your racing effort!

Channel surfing the other night and passed a French Flick of some description - villain? had a Citroen Safari Wagon - police had an Alpine as a "Marked" police car
