TR2/3/3A Removing the headlamp bezel rim

The headlamp bezel on my 1960 Triumph TR3A has no screws. I found that there is a pressure latching point at the 5 o'clock position on the bezel. I used a curved plastic bicycle tire removal tool to attach to the bezel rim. I discovered that a simple pry with hardly any pressure would snap the bezel loose. Any curved device or tool would do the same job.

Prior to discovering this I was trying, with great effort to pull the bezel off with my hands place on either side, and I could not get it off.

I inserted the curved tool in the 5 o'clock position as shown here. I pressed the tool toward the headlamp to pry the bezel off.
I was surprised how little effort it took for it to snap loose.

Nice tool for delicate work. I will remember to get one. Yes those light bezels are a real bear and sometimes a real bear to get back on, nice job
