I don't like his method of removal because it calls for using the BFH! Most steering wheels will come off if, after removing the lrge nut, you spraw inside the threaded column with PB Blaster & let them sit - then assume the position & gut strain! Only when I've tried everything, will I put the nut back on & hit tit with the BFH.DrEntropy said:Yay.
Though I consider him a bit "ham-fisted" at times, John Twist has a youtube vid of a steering wheel removal technique which works.
Then you can peer into the "jaws of the dilemma".
Remember, its a collapsible column & just banging it with the hammer could damage it.
