I got a few rusty fenders I need to remove but figure I'd try and do it the sane way first before I whip out the Sawzall. Any tips on fender removal?

Front fender? Bolts along the top edge, 4 in the front grille opening, bolts along valance seam, 2 or 3 up under bottom edge by rocker, & the ones behind the kick panel & dash inside the car....just time is all it is.

A 1/2" windy (air wrench) will make this a quick job, too. Bolts either come OUT or snap off.

20 minutes, tops. Problem solved! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

& I think 7/16" for the bolts along the valance...don't even try to loosen the ones up under the bottom edge by the rocker...just whack them off!

I could say soooo much.... but instead I'll say: "yeah, whut HE said!"

Removed all the bolts along the top of the fenders, the three along the bottom and under the front grill, three inside above the door frame, the three on the splash pad but fender is still not off the vehicle... just wondering if there might be behind the kick panel /pocket...

As Tony said, behind the kick panel and dash.
