Here's what I found underneath... I'm chuffed to say the least. Much better than I had hoped for. No rust to repair, even under glued down carpeting. :cheers:

Hey, you want to do me a favor? I need to know where to put holes in my bonnet for the chrome strip. I got all the correct hardware from Moss, just need to know where to...gulp....drill.
 
I'll measure tomorrow, for now I'll post a photo. I have one somewhere here.....
