Remove Interval Counter

I have a '76 Midget and I have removed the interval counter. I am now looking for a speedo cable that will go from the transmission to the the speedometer and have the right cable ends. Anyone know how to do this?

All you need is a cable long enough to reach from the transmission to the speedo.

Remove the cable from trans to counter and the cable from counter to speedo.

Measure them; add the length of cable that would be substituted by the counter, and add a little bit of length.

(ie - 30" + 4" + 30" = 64"....for example only!)

Find a cable to match.

Wonder why a cable from a 77-79 Midget (that was void of the counter) would not work?

Maybe Moss' tech line could help you here.

Spoke with Moss. The ends of the cables they had did not match. They suggested I try a forum because they know that people are doing it somehow.

And welcome to the BCF, from Clarksville!
