TR2/3/3A remove a clutch fork

Anyone have suggestions on how to remove a clutch fork with a broken pin. In the past I have drilled a hole from the backside and punch the broken pin out, but I am always open to new ideas.
 
That's the way I did it. Only tricks are to center-punch the surface and start drilling perpendicular to the surface, then once the bit has penetrated a bit, turn the drill motor until you are drilling in line with the pin. You may have to wiggle the fork back and forth on the shaft (so the holes line up), but it should come right out.

Another option is to just cut the shaft and replace both it and the fork. That's what I did on the one where someone had welded fork to shaft. A cheap HF angle grinder with a cutoff blade makes surprisingly quick work of the hardened shaft. Be sure to cut on the side with the lever, so it will come apart afterwards :)
