A buddy has an aftermarket remote control starter on his Benz and I was wondering if there is anything available for my Landy. I did a google search and the most popular kit was "not for use on '98+ LR Discovery".
 
These aftermarket remote starts can be problematic. I know of one horror story in the midwest here, when one of the big box electronic retailers were asked to install one in a BMW 750iL. They fried the "black box" on the car twice before giving up. An expensive lesson!

Which brand did you research? Code Alarm make a good product, they may well have an application for you.
