Remote clutch bleeder setup

I took my old 18G bleeder apart for these pix:

The pipe uses bubble flares at both ends and the hex connector is that for a deep-connector bubble flare. The bleed screw seats in the bubble flare seat. Do not have a measurement for the pipe.

Was unable to find a source for the bubble connector. The DW item sounds more attractive all the time.

FWIW - from one of Rich Berman's photos, the pipe scales to 20".

There, we have all the info if someone wants to build one of more of these.

I just replaced my SS pipe with copper-nickel. The SS work hardens fast and is only good for a couple of tightenings.
The actual pipe length is 21"

On a similar note, you can use Braided AN-3 line to connect the slave to the bleed. The adapters are available from the slave (straight thread with crush washer to AN) and double female at the bleed end into a Wliwood bleeder.

I just installed the remote bleeder kit from Dennis Welch. I makes it a little easier to bleed, but you can't use a MightyVac or other vacuum type bleeder with this kit. The female fitting that the bleed fitting screws into is a swivel fitting and when you loosen the bleed screw, the swivel fitting is loose and prevents drawing a vacuum. Got to get help pumping the pedal instead. Also the fluid leaks out the swivel fitting so it a bit of a mess and potentially a paint destroyer.
I would recommend a different approach than the DW kit.
