So the PO on the '66 TR4a managed to get the rear shock link so badly stuck that he managed to snap the balljoint off thus leaving the taper fit bolt good and stuck.
No dice on trying to use vice grips on getting it off, and the puller I had on hand wouldn't fit. I then remember the heat trick so I grabbed the MIG and put a big blob of weld on the ball joint end and then use PBlaster to cool it off and it came right off.
Anyway, seemed worth posting so it sticks in someone else's mind when the issue surfaces.
