Relocating battery to trunk

I'm thinking about relocating my '77 Midget's battery to the trunk. I'm interested in any general comments/tips about this, but I have a specific question:

Where do I connect the ground strap? Do I:

(a) Make a new ground connection point in the trunk, or
(b) Run a wire back to the engine compartment and connect to the existing ground connection point on the bulkhead?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

1.) I ran a ground strap to a location in the trunk.

2.) If you can find used welding leads, it makes nice cable. It is super flexible and easy to work with.

Trunk should be fine if its not a rust bucket. If your body is rather rusty, you'll get resistance problems and it would be advisable to run a ground to the firewall.

PS - I was thinking about this myself today and I think I'm going to do this too!
