refresh my foggy memory - replacing clutch in my 67 Midget

The release bearing is shot on my 67 Midget & I will replace the clutch with a borg & beck & make sure the release bearing isn't one of those "pinned" ones that are prone to breaking off, the last borg & beck I used seemed good.
My question, I was hoping to avoid pulling the gearbox with motor & just separate & pull the motor, I hate installing the driveshaft etc. Is there any issues with pulling just the motor ? Only other time I have done this was to rebuild the gearbox in my 74, so everything was pulled as a unit, just thought I would check before getting into the project..

Thanks

On my 59, I pulled the motor only the 1st time. I don’t remember any significant challenges. I also took out the 4 tranny mount bolts (since the tranny was coming out too), but I don’t think that’s required.

The hardest part will probably be putting the motor back in and mating it to the tranny while in the car.
