refinishing/polishing 100-6 grill parts

Hello again!

Thanks to the help of the wonderful people on this forum my 100-6 is successfully "stripped" and in the paint and body shop for a new paint job.
So now I'm trying to "restore" as much as possible some of the shiny bits.

Can someone please tell me what material the following parts are made of and how best to clean/polish them?:
1) The top of the windshield frame (lots of fine scratches);
2) The front grill (generally in very good shape);
3) The "cowl" or eyebrow piece that goes over the front grill;
4) The "surround assembly" and "grill" that installs into the opening on the front bonnet.

Thanks!
Chet

Take A magnet & check most of the items u listed are Brass as I recall

ALL but the gril are chrome plated and u can use a good polish

The ā€œcowlā€ as you called it is stainless steel on the earlier six cylinder cars.
