I'd like to get the brass ID plate for my Elva refinished--see photo attached. I contacted Todd Clarke at Clarke Spares but he said he does not do this kind of work and had no recommendations.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Michael, Try Allan Heywood Enamels and see what they can do for you.---Keoke

It can be done at home. Here is how I did my comm. plates https://new.photos.yahoo.com/paulbos@sbcglobal.net/album/576460762328713962 . Test your enamel and clear coat before you use them to be sure they are compatable! Use light coats of the black enamel and 1500 grit wet sanding after it dries. Takes a little practice and time to let the paint dry b/t coats, in the end I was very pleased with the results for little $.
