Redneck radiator [heating]

The wood stove is in the middle of the studio and while it does a great job of heating, it's kinda chilly at the sofa end. I use a fan to blow heat down that way but it's not as warm as radiant heat. I start looking for a way to transfer/transport heat down to the end with as little trouble as possible. I have a pile of stripped and cleaned aluminum heads here so I took two out the pile and I'm heating them on the stove. One goes by the sofa while the other is heating back up. They hold heat for a surprisingly long time AND will keep your coffee cup warm too if you set it on top.

isn't a wood stove in the middle of the room called central heating:encouragement:

If you can't move the stove, move the sofa.
