The ALCS was a better series but a sweep isn't bad either.

I think I've said this before but BAH HUMBUG!.. even tho I knew they'd sweep. Rugged buncha players those Sox. Maybe the new Brass over at Yankee Stadium can learn from this and not worry so much about how clean shaven and neat the players are. With Mr. Optober outta the way - potentially - it'll make room for some new blood.

Woohoo!

My nearly 90-year-old grandmother is ecstatic today -- she was born just after the first championship in the early part of the century, and didn't think she'd live long enough to see them win one. Now she's gotten 2.

Yes, I've got my Sox shirt on today at work. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm........Why do they call it the "World Series" when they restrict eligibility to compete for the title to teams that are on the North American continent? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

It's about as stupid as the Superbowel winners being called the World Champions too...on the other hand both teams had Japanese players, at least one had a South American player, and both had players from the Caribbean.

Is it over?
Can I watch Family Guy on TV now without the baseball on? It would really mean a lot to me, because Desperate Houswives has been on the last few weeks.
Congrats Red Sox, Sorry the Cardinals weren't there to show you how it's done.
