TR2/3/3A Red or Blue Loctite

So I'm ready to install the sludge plugs back in my crankshaft. Knowing how hard it is to get something apart that has had red loctite applied I am hesitant to use it for this application, but I really don't want any of these plugs to back out! Opinions welcome.

I'd go with Loctite 243. Oil resistant, but only medium strength, "removable with hand tools".
