No telling how many other cars parts are on Miss Agatha at this point. A dozen or so. Thank goodness for folks that refuse to throw away anything no mater how rusty and battered. The rusty and battered can always be fixed. It is the lack of that causes problems.

Thanks guys and you all know who you are.

I believe spridget guys are obsessive about not discarding a thing! Then again look on ebay. Stuff for our old, little cars goes for some of the highest prices. I saw a fuel-tanks for sale... Bugeye-$189.95, Pontiac something-or-other-$49.95. Now in terms of amount of material to make them, the Pontiac should cost twice as much!

my problem, quite honestly, is that i often see a parts lot with one or two items i really need. the rest is fluff or garbage. in many cases, i believe these lots are bought up last second off legitimate bidders and then split up for additional profit. we all know how this works and business is business, but sometimes it's so frustrating becasue i'm not in this for profit or business. i just want the part to complete my car. i'm not complaining because persistance pays off, but i have my moments.

The tanks I was referring to were "new" by the look of them!
