On the Triumph page, Tinster's "Crypt Clutch 2nd Look-see" is currently sitting at 130 replies (probably already changed). What is the greatest number on this site so far?

Sitting in a JFK airport hotel room waiting for it to snow again (I am in the aircraft deicing business) and I am bored.

130, that's pretty good, but the conversation usually varies from the threads original intent...

Which hotel? I just was stranded a few days ago on the Belt Parkway, found a great mechanic on Rockaway Blvd. He had a bunch of posters and calendars of Ferraris, so I started quizzing him and talking about LBCs, he shows me a vintage Ferrari, he's got stored under a tarp! We hit it off pretty good, he fixes my car at $65/hr! I was on my way for $200! That's pretty good for Queens. Later he admitted he never liked LBCs, 'cause he found 'em unreliable!

I used to fly in and out of NYC quite a bit, now I mostly drive. Always found JFK too big, it takes so long to move around there and LaGuardia is always delayed, especially during bad weather.

Do you have to commute over from PA?

I am overseeing the operational startup of a big project of ours, so I drive up about once a week.

I don't think that I will ever bring the TR4 up here. I have yet to brave the PA turnpike with it, so the Staten Island Expressway (definitely mis-named) and the Belt Parkway will remain a no go.

Of course if I had been paying attention I would have seen "How cold is it" is sitting at 234!!!

It wasn't my Healey, but my daily driver. The roads there are brutal, I'd be buying an exhaust system every week! Some of my friends work for Sensis, similar travel to yours I imagine.

The old Forum software had a feature where you could sort forums by subject, replies or views. Sure miss that feature.

still does - go to the bottom and have it sort by replies

I think the record is Jaybird's "quick carburetion fix" at 418. Finally they had to lock it.

"Non illegitimus carborundum"

AND don't let the snow weight you down either. (tee, hee)

Had to comment on your sign-off. Had 3 years of the dead language in high school.

I thought Bas didn't like profanity, or anything "akin" to it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif or non-akin, ok it's snowing allot and for a long time, and I'm bored, and easily amused.

No fake sandpaper?

Back a couple of years ago there was a post that went on for somewhere in the neighborhood of 28 pages of basicly nothing. that is over 500 post. It started out as a post to co-ordinate the building of a members garage. Does anyone remeber that one?

Just 6 months of life kicking the Sneddons in the tookus. But all is well. Everyone has their health and my sanity is somewhat intact. I'm almost to the point where I can scrape together a couple of hours to tackle firing up the '3 again and getting some well-deserved LBC R&R.

But thanks for askin
