Recommendations for a temp storage "car tent"?

More appropriate in Restoration and Car Care, but here's the question.

I'm looking for a temporary storage space to store a small car until next summer. I'm thinking steel frame and roof, wind and snow rated, with waterproof cloth or vinyl sides, front, and back. Like a carport with sides, front and back, about 12' by 16', 8' high. It'll sit on a concrete driveway; tent to be replaced next summer with a permanent garage.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks Elliot. That's the design I'm looking for, but I need something with high wind and snow load ratings (steel frame and roof, firm mount onto ground. Didn't even think of Harbor Freight until you posted this. Thanks.

Just a thought, Tom, but have you considered what you're going to do with the tent once you've built the garage? Also, where will you keep the car while the garage is being built?

Might want to consider storage in a local facility - probably costs more than a tent, but would be out of any potential weather and would eliminate those two factors.

Thanks. After the garage goes up, I'll sell the tent setup. They go fast on CL around here. I plan to keep the car inside it while the garage is being built (tent will sit on a section of driveway; garage will go in a different location).

You're right about local storage - about $150/month, and around two miles from here. I'd feel better with the car near me, rather than so far away.

The ones I saw on Amazon are better than the one on Harbor Freight but Mickey’s suggestion is worth considering. Have you checked out self-storage places?

Wind and snow resistant frame, and good enclosure. Seems this would serve the purpose, unless someone nearby has an empty garage. (They don't ...)
