recognize this dash?

I've had far to little dealings with the legendary Fiat Abarths. They were Awesome little cars. I'd settle for owning a 600, but a genuine 850 would be a hoot. I always loved how the propped the hoods open for extra engine cooling.
 
I think the seller was guessing that it was from an Abarth or Jag. Even he doesn't know what it is from. I think the key is that little emblem in the bottom of the gauges, unless that is a generic emblem from the gauge maker. Very cool non the less.
 
Jag, doubtful. But since it's in farenheit, inch/pounds, M.P.H. and LHD, it is interesting.

My vote is Abarth too, it's printed right above the scorpion. Probably an early-50s Spyder of some sort.
