Recharge dead Battery - Sounds semi-plausible

I would be dubious of that one. Kind of like opening the car door locks with a tennis ball.

Much quicker if you rub a glass swizzle stick
with your silk hankie for 30 seconds. Then touch
the positive lead on your starter with the swizzle
stick while the ignition switch in run position.

Starts every time!

In fact, That looks like the SAME car that "magically" opened with the tennis ball.
BTW!!!! I tried that lock thing with compressed air.. DOES NOT WORK!!! I thought so..
I think these guys work for Mythbusters, and are trying to generate new myths for the guys to bust.
I gotta go get my hip waders if I watch too many more of these.
At least this one has a loose base in a proven electrical process

I live in Canada where everyone wears a touque and if this worked, we'd know. If the hat had a Toronto Maple Leafs insignia then I might believe it, but not otherwise Dave

I'll stick with sacrificing a goat to it. Works just as well.

...WHERE'S MY <DEVIL> SMILEY?!?!?!....

Sure... and if a sparkplug fails, you can create a spark by rubbing sticks together too!!! That guy has shuffled on too many rugs and then grabbed too many door handles, the static charge has singed his brain!!!

You guys laugh, but I just replaced my alternator with 6 wool hats tied to the radiator fan.

OOOOOH!! I LIKE that idea...whole new meaning to static timing, eh?

I`ll bet there is someone out there that will really believe this garbage!
I can just see em now! Rubbing like mad till heck freezes over, WAIT heck already did freeze over here!
What Now?

I don't need to use my cap for that.

My LBC is Totaly reliable - I've never had to push it more than a mile to get it started.

Don

The Crypt Car is reliable as well.

I can always rely upon something Pedro the PO did
halfassed will breaking down and strand me somewhere.
