I enjoyed the "picture page" that was started earlier this spring, pictures of Spridgets are alway's great aren't they ? Thought it was time to share some pictures of recent outings etc.
Finally had some decent weather this weekend in my area & got "Midge" out to a car show on saturday & spent sunday touring around a few small towns / backroads... ahhh yes doesn't take much to remember why it's worth the scraped knuckles on these gems - goodtimes - the "smile per mile" is a very nice ratio
Please share some pics !

guess I was the only Spridget owner actually driving & enjoying this weekend...

:cryin: :wall: true

I was out and about a bit very early as it was so durn hot. Took the grandson for a ride. Lots of smiles.

Worked on the UglyBug this evening. Adjusted the headlights and FINALLY got the electronic speedo working. Then I drove it on a short interstate run to see how it handled/rode after the addition of the other spring.
I have the bulk of the mechanicals sorted out so it looks like I will make LoTO. I certainly wish I could get more miles on the car before then.

Tis a good time to get it sorted out. You will have all the experts in one place. We can provide lots of supervision. LOL

I looked at the Tunebug, ordered some parts from Tony as well... as good as I could do, unfortunately.

Well I got a Miata Seat installed and drove arounfd the block for grins and giggles and to see how driving position fits. As a reminder, don't leave the oil change pan sitting under the gas tank when you pull car out of garage. Fortunately it only got slightly crunched and ended up under the jar. Jack needed to extricate fortunately I could have had 8-9 qts of oil running loose in the garage or driveway. Digital Speedo no longer working, much have hit the wire under the car. Something else to fix. I was so excited about driving Bugsy after 6 months I forgot to look under the car.

And was it worth driving with Bugeye Bonnet bungy corded in place in the rear, most definitely. Hopefully passe3ger seat gets installed tonight and then can start on final fit on Bugeye Bonnet.

Definition of a british car - a metal container sitting on ashphalt into which you pour money! LoL

Here in AZ we have been getting highs of 112. A little too warm for the Midget. My wife and I wait until the sun starts to set and drive up in the Superstition Mountains for a night time run. Then we stop by Dairy Queen for a cone on the way home.

I've heard that rumour too - figured it must be true cause I read it on the Internet - but I've never seen it verified.

Do I have to bring the sprite over now and show you how they go down the road. Or are you turning to the dark side as it was reported that you where seen in a Big Healey on the weekend.

Cheers
Mark

The rumour is true ! They are much fun  the howl of the tranny, the floating tachometer readings & that strange rattle that I still can't locate from the passenger rear all good stuff - Come on JP - get that thing on the road ! I'll leave the suggestion of you going to the dark side for another day...
