Just wondering if anyone has a great place to get your Strombergs rebuilt?
I found a place in California that has a 4 day turnaround to rebuild them for about $264.00 the set.
Is this a good price if they do everything including rebushing the shafts?
 
That is a good price, if the work is done correctly. In fact I would like the name of the place as I have a pair I need rebuilt. Thanks, Mike

Yes, the SU throttle shafts are re-bushed. The rebuild process, as described on our website, involves complete disassembly and inspection, thorough ultrasonic cleaning, expert reassembly with top quality gaskets and internal rebuild parts, calibration and flow bench testing.

That's a bargain. It cost me about $150 in parts alone to rebuild my SUs. I'de pay the extra hundred for new bushings and shafts.
